This huge pendant (7 cm x 3 cm x 1 cm deep), is modelled as a monstrous hand holding a violin-shaped piece of fossilised wood encrusted with what appear to be silica.

A truly remarkable piece. Some loss to the plate to reverse as is common with these items.
